Exercise Physiologists are university qualified allied health professionals who specialise in creating individualised exercise programs to assist in the management of specific conditions.
Exercise physiologists take into account the specific needs and goals of the client, and provide advice and support regarding appropriate activity and exercise options to ensure adoption and maintenance of safe and healthy exercise habits.

The Consultants

Georgia holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, as well as a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. She is a member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
What Georgia enjoys about being an AEP is helping clients achieve things they didn’t think they were capable of, and assisting them in realising their health-related goals.
Georgia has a special interest in falls prevention, pulmonary rehabilitation and working with children.
She loves spending her weekends at the beach, going for walks, spending time with her dogs, surfing, skating and going to the gym.Georgia is here with us at West Cessnock Medical Practice on Fridays relieving Rochelle from time to time.

Rochelle has been with us at West Cessnock Medical Practice since we opened in July 2017. 
She is very passionate about her role as an AEP. Rochelle enjoys being able to assist our patients in regaining their movement confidence and improving their ability to complete their daily activities independently and confidently. She also enjoys interacting with our patients, hearing stories about their daily lives and being able to help them achieve their goals through exercise. 
Rochelle finds it extremely rewarding when clients express how proud they are when they accomplish things they didn’t think they could. 
Rochelle has a particular interest in the management of type 2 diabetes, pulmonary conditions (CHF, emphysema, asthma etc), weight management, and falls prevention.
Rochelle enjoys baking and cooking, going to the gym, going to the beach, and strength and conditioning coaching for junior and senior netball teams
Rochelle is here on Fridays and accepts private referrals and Medicare funded referrals through the EPC program. Please call 49915550 to make an appointment with Rochelle.
