Jacob Wood has been working with us at West Cessnock Medical Practice since April 2023. He is a dedicated Podiatrist, passionate about helping our clients with all their foot-care needs.
Jacob treats all aspects of Podiatry and has gained the knowledge and experience to treat a wide variety of foot complaints. He has developed a passion for helping his patients understand the importance of their feet and how to fix them when things go wrong.
Some facts about Jacob’s experience;
- Experience in the treatment and management of high risk diabetic feet
- Further training in Low Level Laser therapy for soft tissue injury management
- Further training in Dry Needling and joint mobilisation
- Experienced in Deep Connective Tissue Massage of the lower leg and foot to treat Heel and Achilles tendon pain
- Experienced in Orthotic therapy
- Various extra seminars in the management of Heel and Arch pain
- 5 years experience in laser therapy the treatment of Onychomychosis

Private Consultations Fees:
All Medicare, DVA & Home Visit services within the clinic are bulk billed.
Rebates available through private health insurance.
Check with health fund to clarify eligibility for rebates.
